It is winter, snow is falling, wind is blowing, rain is flooding- - winter weather can take serious tolls on the trees in our landscape, especially if there was a storm. When you have downed or snapped trees in your landscape, all there is left to do is to have them removed. But what happens when the damages are minor, can anything else be done? Luckily there are many ways to tell if your trees can still be fixed or saved for you to still keep. Here is what you need to look out for:

At this point it is best to seek the help of a professional and help them attentively inspect the tree- - based on their opinion you’ll know what to do.
However, there are a few times where you might consider truly conserving the tree. Before truly deciding whether to chop it down or keep it in your landscape, consider these questions:
If after asking yourself all of these questions, you think that the tree is actually worth keeping and you’d hate to chop it down, the next logical step is to treat it immediately.
Contact a professional to help you solidify and beautify your trees again. A professional will know what to do and how to do the task at hand.
